Earrings Youkali

YOUKALI As we are always striving to happiness, I totally fell in love with the song Youkali, which I heard for the very first time sung by Mario Frangoulis in the Wilshire Ebell Theater in Los Angeles. It is the title of a fabulous song written by Kurt Weill in 1934 on a tango habanero rhythm, describing the “ultimate place of happiness” on an imaginary island called Youkali…  I have used extremely rare pistachio colored south sea pearls (GIA certified), diamonds and tsavorites. This color combination is symbolic of hope and joy and liveliness. The vivid green tsavorite tassel is dancing to the tango and the larger diamonds between the pearls are in a perfect filigree bezel setting. The necklace has two infinity sign clasps that make this piece extremely versatile and symbolizes endless happiness! To be worn short, long, medium length, with one part only or both.
